Public Engagement
I'm always keen to talk to anyone about my work, or about maths in general! Over the past few years, that's included public lectures, podcast episodes, masterclasses in schools, co-curating an exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum, and even being compared to an octopus live on the BBC news.
This page showcases some of those projects, and links to a few resources available online.
If you're interested in talking to me about my work, or in arranging a public engagement event, please get in touch.
Research on the Rocks
Research on the Rocks is a podcast that I co-host with the historian and anthropologist Paula Larsson, where we sporadically interview early-career researchers about their research while gradually getting a little bit tipsy.
Episodes tend to come in groups, with a few in the bank ready to be uploaded - look out for more dropping throughout the year!

Talking Football
As an Ipswich Town fan, I have undisputably excellent taste in football.
I was lucky enough to win the 2019-20 Fantasy Premier League, which has given me the opportunity to talk about some of the ways that maths can be used to understand the beautiful game. This included a public lecture for the University of Oxford's Mathematical Institute, which is available on YouTube if you're curious (and hopefully embedded in this page).
